Great food staff couldn’t do enough really worth a visit

First delivery meal following the changes to Manzil Gold, on time, great food and great friendly service.
One thing I think they could do to retain customers is a loyalty offer of some kind.
Definitely going to visit on a Wednesday evening for the £11.95 4 course meal and then the Sunday Buffett offer

So tonight we were greeted and seated by Olly, who is always very friendly and always gives us the best service. We ordered our starters and mains decided by the manager who helped us pick our curries as we both fancied something different. Food arrived fast and hot, and the flavours were just epic! Manzil Gold is our favourite Indian restaurant by far and we have tried many! It’s definitely worth a visit even more so now with the beautiful decor!! Worth every penny!

Me and my husband are missing visiting Manzils during lockdown, but have now ordered takeaways for delivery twice in the last 2 weeks. The food arrived quickly on both occasions (tonight being the 2nd) and was delicious. We're happy that Manzil are still cooking up their tasty dishes for delivery and we'll continue to visit for meals once lockdown is over. The best in town.

Ordered at 6.40 , arrived at 8.25. After ringing once he said it was on the way. Second time he said they’d just left so my order arrived cold 🙃 full refund would be nice for the awful service!! Won’t be ordering from here again.

We received our order tonight & it was awful. 1st one ever from you. Madras curry was full of oil & chicken was hard…!!! Obviously over cooked. Tandoori mix special was cold & only 1 piece of lamb& that was inedible. Chips were cold & under cooked, I had to put them in my air fryer to coon them. We have ordered before and it’s been lovely.. sorry but never again

We come every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our 38th year this year. Our very first date was at the Manzil in 1983. Tonight's meal was exceptional! We had a lovely waitress and the waiter was friendly and most helpful. We ordered the banquet which was so tasty but more than we anticipated but the waiter offered to send us home with what was left so more to savour tomorrow. A lovely evening once again so thank you Manzil!

Have used manzil many times, eating in and rake out, never had any problems however the delivery last night was really poor, took an hour and half, kept being told driver was 10mins away, and food was lukewarm on arrival, disappointed.

Ordered a meal for 2 at 18:00, at 19:30 it still had not arrived. Phoned to find out where the order was and was told its on its way. It eventually arrived at 20:00. Meal was luke warm and the pupodums were missing. It was clear that my order had been forgotten and left in the restaurant.

Ordered a meal for 2 at 18:00, at 19:30 it still had not arrived. Phoned to find out where the order was and was told its on its way. It eventually arrived at 20:00. Meal was luke warm and the pupodums were missing. It was clear that my order had been forgotten and left in the restaurant.

Tried to order online tonight 13/2/2023 via website, couldnt pay online as payment isnt working, rang up the resturant to order over the phone and payment still could not be completed which is a shame as i like this indian resturant and recommend it but if your looking to order on there website to get a better deal than just eat i would go elsewhere.

I love this restaurant. They are so amazing. I have been eating in for around 20 years and since covid mainly takeaways. Their website is really easy to use and the food is the same 100% quality. Always delivered with a smile and brilliant value for money.

We’ve eaten in this restaurant quite a few times and the food has always been really nice, so we decided to try a takeaway last night. We ordered and it came in a reasonable amount of time, it arrived nice and hot and was good value for money, with the discount on the website. I had an issue in respect of paying by card on the website, which has caused an error in the basket on my account, so had to checkout as a guest and nip to the cashpoint. I had tandoori chicken tikka with pilau rice, which was really nice. My nephew had chicken madras with pilau rice and a cheese and onion naan, which was good. However my husbands chicken balti was ridiculously salty and he ended up throwing quite a bit of it away. I tried a bit of it and it really was way too salty. I did offer to contact the restaurant, but he said he was full anyway. Everything about the takeaway was great, apart from not being able to pay by card online and that one dish.

I was going to order a large order for 30 people for my son’s birthday party but after a terrible delivery service the night before I was going in to make this big order. They took 2 hours to deliver my food and there were missing items Then 1 hour for the missing order to come after saying it would only take 10 mins and they promised free popodumns as an apology. NO POPPODUMS ARRIVED!I ordered for 50 people last year for my son’s birthday party. I was going to order every year. But now that’s not going to happen with you. Bad review have been posted everywhere I can think of putting them.

I highly recommend considering alternative options that prioritize both timely delivery and customer care.
